The Basic Life Support course at California Dental Institute has been carefully designed for healthcare professionals and public safety officials, which meets the local and federal regulatory authorities’ necessary guidelines and requirements.

This course’s curriculum enables the students to assess emergency clinical situations, perform damage assessments, and perform life-saving procedures. This course comprises several modules which can be conveniently modified by course directors and our partner institutes – based on their specific needs.

Ways to Train

Our courses offer a blend of classroom learning enriched with laboratory and clinical training. Considering our students’ varying learning needs, we provide different modules for flexible and convenient education.

Physical classes – we have designed this learning mode for individuals who learn best in the conventional, face-face learning environment. The students attend physical lectures and learning sessions along with their colleagues at a physical location.

Blended Learning – for busy healthcare professionals, who cannot attend physical classes, our blended learning program offers a mix of online lectures, interactive sessions to impart clinical decision-making skills as well as in-person courses. This learning module is self-paced, allowing professionals to customize their learning plan, course assessments, and examinations.

During this course, all our students, whether learning through physical or blended modes, will undergo training according to the guidelines of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2015-2018, International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and the 2015-2018 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
